I have loved dolls since young. Recently, I have been looking at this Pullip Dolls website which my collegue recommended to me. It is so interesting. It also reminded me of childhood that I had always wish for a doll but because of financial difficulty, my mom always refuses to buy me one. So I told myself that I would use my first drawn salary from work to buy myself a barbie doll to keep, although I don't play with it. I just keep it in the bookcase for display hehe..

A Little History of Pullips

Pullips are dolls created by the Korean company Chunsang Chunha and marketed by JUN Planning of Japan. First released in 2003, Pullip is distinguished by her oversized head and highly articulated body. Pullip also has a unique eye mechanism that allows her eyes to move back and forth and wink via controls on the back of her head. Each doll comes with a unique outfit and accessories, and later dolls have trading cards and a stand.

Friends of Pullip

Like Barbie and her sisters, ex-boyfriends, and friends, Pullip has a selection of related dolls to hang out with. Visit the recommended links to learn more about them. There is also a Pullip minis line.
Namu: Pullip's ex-boyfriend.
Taeyang: Pullip's current "boyfriend".
Dal: Taeyang's kid sister, and self proclaimed "rival" of Pullip. Loves her brother.

Names

"Pullip" is a Korean word for "blade of grass", "leaf", "grass", or something along those lines. It's pronounced "Poo-leep", "Poo-lip", or "Poo-lippu". Interestingly enough, Namu means "tree", Taeyang means "sun", and Dal means "moon".

Pullip dolls are released on a monthly basis. There are times when a Limited Edition doll will be released and sold by a limited amount. Each edition has a unique name as well as a distinct face make-up, hair style, outfit, accessories, and box.

How time flies!! Now we in the second half of 2009..everyday are busy days for me in the first half of the year, really hope for a break soon during the end of the year. Hope I will be able to go on at least one oversea trip.

Almost every nite are sleepless nites for me, although I am tired but whenever I close my eyes it is either not able to sleep or just light sleeping.Probably my mind and my body needed more rest and recharge for the better. I wanted to work and at the same time I will be able to go on a holiday for at least once a year. Hope this can come true, I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying hard.
