Today I woke up feeling sad, xiao hei my other hamster passed away today. She has been sick and small in size ever since my previous hamster xiao bai bit her legs and left her crippled. I had observed that she has been sleeping and sleeping everyday, and she don't really eat much like last time. She grew thinner and thinner each day until this week she was feeling so weak that she hardly like to move anymore. Her breathing was heavy and eventually yesterday nite, I saw her breathing was faint and slow. Haiz.. I think this morning she went dead..My heart breaks every time I see her very very thin and suffering..Each time when a pet dies, I get upset.. cos after taking care of her for so long and she was gone.. =~~( I console myself, telling myself she will be good in heaven, no more pains and sufferings for her.

Lastly, I wanted to tell xiao hei that I will miss her and hope that she will be good in heaven.. and remembered her stay with me during this one and half years.

Haven't been updating my blog recently.. since then too not much major event had happened.. except on valentines' day in Feb, went on a trip to Thailand with dear. We visited the temples there, pray for a better year in 2010. We went shopping at some of the famous street markets and shopping complexes, visited Thailand Chinatown and we went to the zoo too. The zoo there was a bit different from Singapore cos we are much closer to the animals. We could see the animals quite clearly although they were caged. The cages were kinda near. The most memorable experience is going on a safari tour in a van. We get to see most of dangerous species like the lions, tigers.. wow.. hee.. very near to the van, we were told by the tour guides that we should not wound down the windows cos these dangerous animals may strike. =X (jump on top of the van.. abit like the Jurassic Park haha). We spend most of the time , eating and shopping , things there were relatively cheap as in the thai baht..I bought a Hello kitty head cushion toy which was pretty huge, it only cost about 5 dollars SGD.. got time I would upload the photos..Getting around in Thailand is quite easy.. by cab or the "tutu" quite fast, but during the evenings about 5pm, traffic jams start. Overall, a very nice experience for the Thailand trip.

its finally the last day of 2009, made a new year resolution for myself..recap what I have done for 2009.. its all about work, life, my dear, my family , my friends, my pets...overall was a good year for me, everything was smooth..but just some food poisoning issues... and death of my pet xiao bai which has affected me alot physically and mentally.. Life is good... enough money to spend, enough money for holidays, for celebrations, for clothes and two luxurious which I bought..(that is a coach bag and a coach wallet) gotten it cheaper all thanks to mel..=) 2010 is coming .. I hope everything shall remain the same.. I shall be thankful..

Pet xiao bai 's death

didn't did i expect my pet xiao bai which I have kept a year and a half is gone today on 16 oct 2009 at 430 am ... I was sad... She is gone forever.. thinking back how I have gotten her from the pet shop and now dead after one half year...makes me feel even more sad... I cried... although I think its pretty stupid to get so upset over a pet... and I knew this day would come..I should have been prepared..she was well-fed and slept well and suddenly she was gone... she was running on her wheels yesterday and this afternoon she is eating and drinking.. and at night she is gone...=( haiz hamsters really have short life.. after today, I felt that I shouldn't have gotten any more pets anymore..once u have got feelings and done so much for the pet and its gone...It is really painful and sad...Now I don't have to feed xiao bai anymore, I don't have to bathe her anymore, I dont have to play with her anymore, I dont have to wash her cage anymore..she has gone to heaven to search for her own playland..wish that she could remember us that we have gave her happiness when she is alive..and she will always be remembered by us.=~~~~~~~~~~ goodbye xiaobai

It has been a long time since I gave my blog a new look..Time flies and now is already September. Ever since working, time really past so quickly like a blink of eyes. Approaching the end of the year 2009, I hope and pray that I could get my wishes to come true and that is to go for a short holiday with my dear, be it only for a few days. I will be contended.

During each year of september, I always have mixed feelings. I feel that I gets older and older as each year of september passes cos my birthday is coming. Really don't know why, Now I am beginning to hate september. =X Last time, I remembered when I was young I look forward to september but not now anymore. =X haha.. maybe when a person gets older, birthdays are not meant to be remembered and has become more and more meaningless.

I have loved dolls since young. Recently, I have been looking at this Pullip Dolls website which my collegue recommended to me. It is so interesting. It also reminded me of childhood that I had always wish for a doll but because of financial difficulty, my mom always refuses to buy me one. So I told myself that I would use my first drawn salary from work to buy myself a barbie doll to keep, although I don't play with it. I just keep it in the bookcase for display hehe..

How time flies!! Now we in the second half of 2009..everyday are busy days for me in the first half of the year, really hope for a break soon during the end of the year. Hope I will be able to go on at least one oversea trip.

Almost every nite are sleepless nites for me, although I am tired but whenever I close my eyes it is either not able to sleep or just light sleeping.Probably my mind and my body needed more rest and recharge for the better. I wanted to work and at the same time I will be able to go on a holiday for at least once a year. Hope this can come true, I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying hard.

Recently,I have been staying away from crowds even on my off days, lying on a low profile.. don't know why but just wanted to be alone by myself, ..enjoying quiet moments by myself.. doing some soul searching about the things I have done and relationships with friends and loved ones.

Thinking through some of the things that I should have done and not done.. thinking of ways of improving myself to be a better person.. So much things have been going through my mind..

Sales have been good lately and I have been getting some bonuses for the past four days.. paid off debts and allowances.. and finally its time to save more money for myself..=)

Relationship has been stable for me and dear..I have learnt the key words is to give and take, try to understand each other..but the only thing I have to do now is also to spend time with my friends.. especially missing owl and mel.. wonder how they are doing now...I really want to thank god that I have found two good friends in life..Hope they both doing well..

Relationship with my parents haven't been good lately, whenever I at home off from work, they will nag me small things like " why didn't I off the switch in my room when I went off from work." which I can't cos bro need to use." argg already explained but they still dont understand ..haizz I go to work at 1pm and by 2pm they will be back.. and they can say things like later kenna fire =.= Sometimes I just feel like they don't understand me at all =(..Haizz..

I happened to surf the internet tonight and found an interested article, some great pointers and reminders for myself..

The article says:
There is an old saying: you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince or princess. Hopefully, of course, you find out what frogs they are before you start kissing too many of them.

Everyone is looking for their shining consort, the Prince or Princess Charming with whom to spend their happily ever after. But so few people know what to look for in a partner that they end up completely disillusioned and broken hearted. Happiness in marriage becomes a myth or a utopian ideal that no one really expects to achieve.

But it is still within reach. It is very possible to find your soul's mate and enjoy a lifelong romance with him or her. You just have to know some fundamental truths about love, and about yourself, before you start.

The first thing you must know is that the only way you'll ever be happy with someone, for more than a couple of weeks, is if you both share the same core values. Sick~.~ Food poisoning

Yesterday I was feeling kinda sick after eating some rice during dinner. The food was from some community centre that my father brought back after his course. Aww.. My mum seeing alot of rice didn't want to cook so in the end I have to eat it after my work.

Later around midnite 2plus, I started to throw up.....throw up till there is nothing left to throw up anymore =X. My stomach felt so terrible, pulling pain and I couldn't even lie nor sit...3plus the puking continues, and stomach pain continues... till I need to see the doctor at the 24 hour clinic ..

Dear went with me to the clinic... When I reach there, I was the only patient..Doctor gave me an injection on my butt which is still painful now =( sob~~
After medication, I was feeling better now...tell myself next time I should take better food ..as it was such an terrible and costly experience... =(

Upside-down "Fu" 福 Character

A little history about the word 福 "Fu"

福 "Fu" is a lucky word for Chinese. It means fortune, luck, blessings and happiness. The tradition of pasting the character "Fu" on walls and doors especially during Chinese New Year has existed among Chinese for a very long time. Chinese like to paste the "Fu" character calligraphed on red paper upside down intentionally.

"Fu" 福 is written on the paper squares, which can be pasted normally or upside down, for in Chinese the "reversed fu" is homophonic with "fu dao le" pronounced as "fu comes". The upside down fu thus implies "good fortune has arrived".

SHOPPING SPREE

On Sunday, I met up with owl, owl sis, owl mom and mel and we went to Malaysia to shop for our Chinese New Years' clothings. First time going to malaysia by bus 170 after the change of the moving of their new interchange. Well, the journey was much longer and the jam seems not to be better but worst. The whole interchange was much posh but people seems to be walking everywhere like lost sheeps. The signage was pretty confusing as well.

We went there by the public bus and it wasn't that cheap too. The ticket was 3.70RM each person and it goes a very long way.Owl's mom say was very expensive. The whole bus ride was an adventurous experience once more. Few years back when I visited my cousin in Malaysia too, I had an frightful experience.The bus nearly crashed towards a big tree. This time round, I wasn't spared too, the bus driver drive recklessly and keep jerking and braking and before all of us can even get down, he already started to move. Lucky, Mel, Owl and Me had not had any breakfast yet or we have already thrown out what we have eaten haha..

At about noon, we reached Jusco Shopping Complex.We ate KFC there. I love the KFC in Malaysia. woo..The chicken taste great, spicy and tender. The price, of course was cheaper than eating the same thing in Singapore =D. We started to shop from the lowest level upwards. Those branded shop didn't had any special promotions or discounts, only Jusco departmental store had very special offers like 50% or 70%. I managed to get some tops and a capri pants for the New Year and guess what the prices is so unbelieveably cheap. All the tops and the capri-pant only cost about SGD 10-12 bucks.Only the dress is a little costly at SGD 36. Omg..overall I only spend about SGD 70 for 5 items which I don't think I can get it in Singapore.

Dear came to join us after he went to do his things. He printed some namecards for our new shop. We ate our dinner at a stone-grilled restaurant. Mel said this type of stone-grilled restaurant, we had in Singapore too. For me(mountain-turtle) its the first time eating =x. I can't believe that our food was placed raw on this stone grilled thingy and what I need to do is just to cook it myself by flipping here and there lor. It was indeed fun. haha..

After dinner, we went to the supermarket and then make our way home by cab. Taking a bus from the interchange was an agony now. The queue was so freaking long and complex. Alot of self-formed queues and many people were cutting queues. Now the bus lanes are so very complicated and no proper signage. The whole interchange was so packed that we can't even moved to see anything. Some queues which were self-formed which goes round and round without even getting to the bus berth(means getting to nowhere =/). ARggg.. everything was so messy there but thinking of the cheap things I gotten there haha.. quite a worthwhile trip afterall!!

The Holiday continues ~ Taipei & Kao Hsiung (1st Dec to 8 Dec)

On the third day, we left for Taipei. This time round we took a bus. It only cost us 320NT each. It was cheap but the whole journey will take 6 hours leh =X Oh well, cos no choice.. budget, budget..We were tired and fell asleep in the bus cos we didn't sleep well for the past two days. Before the bus stop for toilet break, we passed by some "ulu places or some villages" and I saw some "bing lang xi shi" selling betel nuts. From a distance, I saw them dressed sexily and cos its winter season in Taipei,omg.. the temperature is about 14 degree, really "pei fu ta men" but I also guessed they have no choice.

We reached Taipei around 7.30pm, as usual the sky gets very dark at 5pm already. We checked in a hotel and went to " ming hua night market" near our hotel. The things and food sold in this market are quite cheap.

The rest of the days, we visited places like 西门汀 , 士林 night market, 渔人码头, 九分,谈水, the toilet restaurant, taipei 101, 新光三越, revolutionary Martyr's Shrine and 野柳 hui guan. we also went to 泡温泉. I heard from others that go to Taiwan must go try 泡温泉. 泡了温泉 will feel relaxed relieve stress and it is so true that very night I had a very good sleep.=D

The people there in Taiwan are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely wanna go back again and the next time round I would like to go Tainan, Tai zhong, kenting, hua lian etc.. but right now, work and save money first lor =p

Immediately, after my trip from KL back.. My dear suggested that we go on a free & easy trip to Taiwan for holiday. Wow it is kinda of rush.. especially going on a free & easy trip. We need to really plan.

We took the 1pm flight, reach taipei already 5.30pm and to my surprise the sky has turned dark. We took the KMRT to Kao Hsiung from Taipei Rail Station. The tickets cost us about 1200NT each and the whole journey only took us 90 minutes. It was very fast but the ticket was expensive.

We reach Kao Hsiung at night and we found a hotel to check in our lugguages. We stayed near the famous 六合night market. Alot of food to eat and shop starting from the beginning and to the end of the street, the night market in Taiwan normally open till 4am in the morning. Staying near the night market, you will not go hungry as there are many things to eat. We ate the oyster pancake, oyster mee suan, fried cheese, red bean soup, bean curb, shui guo bing, xiao wan mian, chou chou guo.. and many many... There are also a lot of seven-eleven stores and we went to buy their "bei bei mian" and potato chips.

Hello Kitty Mo Tian lun

The second night, we visited the famous temple , Dream mall (where there is a Hello Kitty Mo Tian lun) and the well-known river 爱河. The temple is so huge that there is a map near the entrance showing tourists the direction so that we wouldn't get lost. The night scenery at 爱河 is so breath-taking and magnificent that we couldn't help but took many pictures.

I took a short break to KL during November..went with owl and mel. We met up with Shane in KL, as usual Shane is our tour guide there =D
We took a coach and reach KL at about 3.30am and we can't check in the hotel. We asked the receptionist and she say the room will only be ready at 9am...It was like wah.. so late to check in and what are we supposed to do during this time. We walked to the nearest Mac Donald and sat there ate early breakfast and watch soccer match in the Mac Donald. We ate, sat, chat and left at about 7am when the crowd starts coming in.

As we still have some time left before checking in, we thought wanna go chinatown to shop.From sungei wang to chinatown, we plan to walk and we ended up lost =X In the end, we did reach chinatown by asking people around for direction. As most shops in chinatown will open at noon, Mel bought some snacks. After that we took a cab back to the hotel.

We rested awhile in the hotel,then we went shopping and ate lunch at sungei wang. We walked around and we went to KTV at about 5pm sang for four hours. In the KTV ,it is free flow of snacks and soft drinks, coffee and tea.It was pretty cheap, each person pays about 15-17RM.

After the KTV session, we went to chinatown again by cab. It was drizzling. We walked around chinatown and owl bought alot of things for her collegues, her mom and sis. We managed to get some things at good bargains due to the rain =D I got myself a tee-shirt and a pink jacket, my dear got himself a sling black bag for work. After an hour or two, we went back our hotel and we decided to continue with our KTV session at midnite LOL ...This time round, its buffet style, got porride, mee, a lot of food.

After our marathon KTV we went back to rest, the next day we need to check out le at 12pm. Before boarding the coach, we ate lunch at sushi king opposite our hotel, sad to say, the quality of the salmon there really sux. The colour of the salmons are all in pale white and it taste horrible. =( After lunch, we just went shopping around.

At about 3.00pm, we left for the coach. Mel and owl continue their shopping as their coach was later in the evening. =D

It has been a very bad week for me.. down with a flu.. making me sleepless every night for the whole week...Blocked nose, coughing, felt feverish too..Arggg.. I felt tired physically but mentally, my brain keeps working.

No reason why.. Just can't sleep...I wasn't thinking of anything.That was kinda of ridiculous I felt....Sick, Tired but can't sleep...This kind of feeling really sux to the core...

Enough said.

I think my body is sending me a signal that I need to take a short break or a holiday, a day or two will be enough to cure I guess..YES!! THAT'S IT...NEXT MONTH..GOING ON A TRIP.I am definitely looking forward to November's trip ^.^ shop, shop, shop, eat, eat, eat..At least, this is a little reward that I can give myself after working so hard.

PASTA DE WARAKU

Yesterday, I met up with mel and owl for dinner. Didn't really know what to eat and so we decided to walk to Heeren where owl and mel recommended this restaurant "PASTA DE WARAKU" It is located at the fifth level. They sell all sort of pasta but probably it is Japanese + Pasta. I don't really know how both goes together, but after trying the food was pretty nice and would definitely return to this place for dining.

Restaurant Name: PASTA DE WARAKU @ Heeren
Ambience : The place was pretty small, and the tables are quite close to each other. But the huge and cute soup bowls make up for all these.

Service: Good. The staff often come to refill our plain water and also to clear the bowls and plate promptly.

Food: It was yummy, lots of variety from pizzas to pasta, deserts to drinks.. and very appetizing. We ate so full that we hardly able to walk. haha..

Overall, a good dining experience with fresh and tasty food. =D~~~

Back to MapleStory =D
Finally, I am back to mapling.I tried to recall and I think I have stopped mapling for at least half year or more.Now back to mapling was great. Oh well, I have to spent 30k = $30 on cash items cos I look so ugly without cash items =( haha.I am transformed to become a Japanese school girl. =D kawaii rite =P

On the first day, found training very difficult becos I didnt do my genesis skill. The one that required a party of six. Finally on the second day, owl, mel, shane, euphie, riven, we formed a party of six and got my skill. =D I really really want to thank u all cos without you all to help, I don't think I can come back mapling.

Actually getting those items for the quest are a pain. Especially the manon cry, Me and riven went in killing that Big fat Manon and I got dispel.I died and I lost 5 percent =~~~ sadz.. But quite lucky cos we didnt cc to find the manon, we just went in to the channel we were at, and the fat manon already there.haha. I really paiseh cos the quest start quite late and by the time it ended mel got to sleep very late sorri about it... Owl too who just came back from work, euphie who is training with his aiai totto, shane who need to go to school the next day, and riven got to wake up for work early. Really wanted to thank you all( xie xie ni men~~)

Business is ugly!!

Being in business is ugly, Oh well, I see the ugly side of human beings..
A person can pretend and act good in front of you, but in fact, they can be
talking bad behind your back, stabhing you with a knife, thinking of all sort of ways to " snatch customers" and "cutting lines"..When business is expanding, people often get jealous and they would try every sort of ways to make you fall...(very yin xian)

In the business line, there is no such things as so call " loyal customers"
The most " loyal customers" can turn out to be betrayors or traitors... The best price deals but when they are given the best price they however, are not satisfied and would want to find even better prices(never ending and never can satisfied their appetite).LOL.. maybe human beings are afterall not satisfied with what they have and like to take things for granted.

I have been in the business for past few months and realise there are all sorts of human.. Jealous people, liars, back-stabbers, petty people, EQ low people, cunning people, scheming people, people who go back on their words, trouble makers, "smiling tigers", copycats, stubborn people, complain kings, ireasonable people, suckers who want to suck you dry, people who are making use of you etc...Actually to be frank, these people couldnt hurt me..They are the ones who help me and make me learn how to be strong and firm with the decision I make.."A Tick for Tack", I can't be soft-hearted as well when dealing with them..Business means Business

What's written in my dictionary is the strongest will survive.. and the weakest will fall..The strongest who survived are the ones who play the business tactic well..There are no short-cuts to success, you have to depend on yourself (80percent on your own, 20 percent on luck)...所谓强者生存...

PS:这是个强者才能生存的世界,为了能够在这世上生存下来,有时必须要耍一些小手段.

面对讨厌的人，你无法理解的人，关系僵持的人，你可以尝试以下几点：

1、站在对方的角度考虑问题，多看看别人的优点而不是死咬缺点不放，学会宽容。

2、尊重对方，关心对方，多赞扬对方，不要不舍得开金口。

3、和攻击性较强的人相处，对方的话不必放在心上，除了侮辱人格时应义正严词外。

4、在关系僵持或恶化的时候，一定要主动表示友好，不要爱于面子、难为情。

Guess what? My birthday present are..."Hello Kitty collectables"

haha... dear gave me a hello kitty handphone from OKWAP made in Taiwan..oh well OKWAP brand famous in Taiwan..LOL but not very famous in SG.. haha but its ok .. The HELLO KITTY HP is so "kawaii" very sweet in pink and the ringtone for incoming messages are very very cute..alot of HELLO KITTY wallpapers inside as well.. something unique..and guess how much this Handphone cost =X 400SGD.. Expensive sia =X (oh my dear,u dont have to give me such an expensive gift =X)I really love the packing of the box, so nicely and sweetly packed. Inside is like a drawer, first layer is the pouch and handphone, second layer is an ezylink card holder, hello kitty handphone strap and some sticker cards. The last layer are the cables, charger and earpiece.

Mel and Owl gave me a hello kitty soft toy.. They name it " DA TOU WA WA " and owl told me I can punch her "head" cos its damn big haha...The kitty is in a yellow colour kimono and she wears a pretty sunflower in her ears haha.. "KAWAII"

Getting tired of fast food?Three weeks ago, I went to Vivocity, found a "unique" fast food restaurant. Restaurant name is called Superdog, guess its the only branch at vivo. Probably to some of you, already isn't that "new" le.The hotdogs are manually grilled to retain the freshness.Oh well, the restaurant served from burgers to hotdogs, to fries and deserts too. Lots of variety of food,the prices are reasonable as well. The setting and embience is cozy too, great hangsout for families and friends. Something that caught my eyes and I find it pretty cute is a board that tells "Hotdog Etiquette". It is all about the Dos and Don'ts when eating hotdogs.(LOL didnt know that eating hotdogs must know the dos and don'ts too) One of the Don'ts is "don't take more than five bites to finish a hotdog" for long-winded seven bites is acceptable". Think back kinda of funny, five bites ( must have very big mouth) hor ....haha =.= Hey friends, check it out if you all want other alternatives or perhaps are tired of eating those (M....),(K...),(B...),(L....)=X

Fun-Filled events (Shane's visit in Sg 27th-30th May 2008)

Day 1~~Sang KTV at Orchard, shopping at vivo, ate at Marche,met nitemare from DS.

Day 2~~ shopping at chinatown for some CDs, went to "The mind's cafe" at Boat Quay, overnite at mel's house for mahjong session.

Day 3~~eat tim sum at chinatown, went to queenstown shopping centre to shop for Shane's sport shoes, met with owl at orchard for dinner, overnite KTV at Kbox till 6am.

Day 4 ~~ Shane back to KL.

Angela's Concert (1st June 2008)
Finally......... long awaited... Angela's concert today. It was excellent. Angela sang lots of her nice songs like 不想懂得,我的最爱,寓言,口袋的天空,梦里花,欧若拉,真的,隐形的翅膀,失忆,喜欢你没道理,如果的事(duet with fan wei qi), journey,手心的太阳,mama mama,潘朵拉 ,遗失的美好,快乐崇拜 blah blah.The concert last about 2 hours,nice songs one after another, really enjoyed myself =D.The distance from the place I am sitting to the stage was so far away and obviously sad to say the photos taken were all so blur arggg.. But I would only upload a few of those so call CMI (Can make it ones). I bought a pink Angela's tee-shirt for $22 but left the only last piece of( Size M) for the colour pink( a bit oversize for me) that I have to wear it big -.-" dang!! Actually, there are caps too for sale, $15 for one (left red and black), but didnt get it. I saw everyone buying the keychains,$16 very small de.. for the Angela's brand bah. To conclude.. I would say the concert was excellent (two thumbs up). Jiayou Angela!!!! Wo hui yong yuan zhi chi ni de ~~~~

A mouse looked through the crack in the wall
to see the farmer and his wife open a package.
What food might this contain? The mouse
wondered - he was devastated to discover it
was a mousetrap.

Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse
proclaimed the warning:

The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her

To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.
The farmer's wife did not get well; she
died.
So many people came for her funeral, the
farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide
enough meat for all of them.

The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in
the wall with great sadness.

CABAL ONLINE ( The Revolution of Action)
Recently I have been playing cabal online..3D game..
First time playing 3D game, hard to believe cos previously I have been playing mostly2D games.At first, it was quite hard for me to get use to the keys and screens. But the interesting part is that I can just press one button and my character will keep punching the mob, don't have to keep pressing till fingers cramp. If some mob have very long Hp, I can go afk or go do things while the character keep punching lor haha =X a bit like botting lar I can say..LOL Pretty much for slackers like me too..=p

You can chose your favourite class of character,if those people who are free can try all the classes if they want =x haha( warriors, wizard, blader, force blader, force archer and force shielder).All characters have their own strength and weaknesses. Another thing that is different, is that you can actually PK OTHER PEOPLE in the game or have a guild duel or something..In this game there are so many intriguing quests and missions just like Maplestory...Pretty interesting..=D
